A Blue Weekend.
No...it wasn't bad. In fact, I would say it was the perfect fall weekend. I went with friends to their charming lake house in the Poconos and on the way we stopped off at Blue Hill at Stone Barns for their annual Harvest Festival. This is by far one of my favorite places to go not only for the restaurant's deliciously creative menu, but also for the breath-taking landscapes and the stunning interiors. Renovated by Asfour Guzy Architects, this former dairy barn on the Rockefeller estate is laid back elegance at it's best, offering up country dining with city sophistication. Yet it's the overall design aesthetic and it's warm, earthy appeal that I always find so enchanting. (And if spending the day in such a beautiful setting weren't enough, you can only imagine my glee when I ran into comedian, political satirist and overall genius Jon Stewart!!!-YESSS!)
