Screen Saver.

Erwin Hauer is an Austrian-born sculptor who began making architectural screens in the 50's that were equal parts graceful, complex and mesmerizing. These perforated modular structures were used in buildings throughout the U.S. and around the world, and a good friend of mine recently told me about an amazing book that documents most of his work. Titled Erwin Hauer:Continua, this collection of photographs shows not only the extraordinary beauty in his designs, but also how incredibly progressive Hauer was considering the time. Certain to thrill any design enthusiast, this book is a must have.
