Alma Knack.

Alma Allen is a self-taught sculptor whose miniature works of art are both "utterly natural and unmistakably man-made." Using found wood, stone, and sometimes bone pieces, Allen meticulously sands and polishes each item creating smooth whimsical objects that are equally clever and stunning. "Sexuality, fertility, aggression, and humor flow out of his mind over his objects" according to his website which is certainly evident with the shapes and forms found in each sculpture. We're crazy about his work and are hoping we can make it to Boston to see his latest exhibition that just opened this weekend at the Anthony Greaney Gallery. Click here to see more of his objects and let us know what you think.
