Happy New Year!

Ahhhhh....we've finally returned from a much needed vacation and we hope everyone enjoyed the holidays as much as we did. We traveled down south to spend time with family and had THE most amazing time! Delicious food, cocktails a plenty, lots of laughter and long naps were part of the seasonal ritual. We have to say-it was pretty incredible. But now we're back, relaxed and looking forward to seeing what 2009 has in store. While away, we had plenty of time to think about Design Therapy and the direction we'd like to take it in the coming months. Of course we'll continue to blog about what we consider aspirational and inspirational design, but we'd also like to introduce some other elements you'll be hearing about in the next few weeks. We think it'll be very exciting, a bit more thoughtful, and hopefully somewhat interactive. More details to follow, we promise. In the meantime, we wanted the first post of the New Year to represent everything we strive for in our designs and also encapsulates our design philosophy: timeless, edgy, sharp, intriguing, modern, warm, composed and most importantly, free of clutter. This is a space designed by our favorite architecture and interior design firm Shelton Mindel; we think it's pretty perfect.
