Speech Therapy.

Design Therapy is excited to announce that our alma mater, F.I.T. (Fashion Institute of Technology), is honoring legendary Italian designer Gaetano Pesce with their 2009 Lawrence Israel Prize. For almost half a century this artist, architect, designer, filmmaker, urban planner and teacher has had a unique and critical voice in the world of design and his work is cherished by every major design collection from MoMA to Tokyo. In fact, you can still find quite a few of his creations at places like B&B, Cassina, Moss, and Unica Home. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear Mr. Pesce speak about his work next Tuesday, April 14th 2009 at 5:45 in the John E. Reeves Great Hall at F.I.T. Entry will be through the "D" building on the Northwest corner of Seventh and 27th Street. No reservations are required, admission is free and it's open to the public. For further information please contact Johannes M.P. Knoops at johannes_knoops@fitnyc.edu. Hope to see you there. We can't wait! SPEECH! SPEECH! SPEECH!

That is great. In my Blog I write only about Italian Designers and I am happy Pesce will receive this prize. I wish I was there to hear the speech! I read that Chair Up5 "symbolizes the shackles that keep women subjugated" I am wondering if it was him saying it or part of the Ad by Cassina...
I wish I could be there as well.
how was the speech??
