Historical Acquisitions.

Hey folks! It's been BEYOND nutty the last few weeks and we've been incredibly busy with some exciting new opportunities. We'll certainly keep you posted on some of these things as they unfold, but with everything that's been happening along with running our design business, something had to give .... and unfortunately it was the blog. But here we are, together again and we're eager to share some information regarding what is sure to be a fantastic sale this coming weekend. Starting this Saturday with the help of Modern Living Supplies, Ian Schrager's reinvented Gramercy Park Hotel hosts a furniture and fixtures tag sale of items from their Wakiya restaurant that opened in 2007 (see photo below). This event will include all the custom made interior furnishings designed by the French design firm, Gilles & Boissier (one of our favorite firms whose residential work is featured above.) Banquets, chairs, tables, tabletops, lighting, rugs, mirrors, wall panels, etc., ALL MUST GO! This will be a Cash and Carry sale with no holds, returns or exchanges (they're not kiddin' around). The sale is open to the public from Saturday, June 13 through Tuesday, June 16, 10am-5pm daily. Credit cards, cash and checks will be accepted and the sale entrance will be on Gramercy Park North. Try your best to get there so you can own a piece of history - albeit only a couple of years in the making ....
