'Tis The Season-Day One!

Hard to believe it's that time of year again, but yes the holidays are upon us and you know what that means? Time to start thinking about what you can do for others, whether it be a loved one, a family member or perhaps even a stranger in need. Nothing makes you feel better than the gift of giving! Over the next few weeks we'll be posting items that we think make up the ultimate wish list. Some may be a bit more pricey than others, and some may be a little off the wall, but isn't that why they call it a wish list in the first place? We'd also like to take this opportunity to showcase some of our favorite charities and hope you'll take a minute to learn about any one of them and do your best to make some sort of donation.

First up on our list: This beautifully designed turn table from Audiowood available at Anthropologie. We first learned about this pitch-perfect piece of nature from our friends over at DesignSponge, and the minute we saw it we fell deeply in love. This smooth slice of ashwood is outfitted with a Premotech motor and a Rega tonearm, a weighty glass platter and adjustable spike legs. Once you've had a chance to fully check out this incredible gift idea, be sure and mark your calendars for December 4th and 5th. On these two days, our dear friends from the New York Design Center are hosting DIFFAPORIUM "an incredible emporium featuring gifts and luxury items offered to the public at or below wholesale". This will benefit one of our absolute favorite charities DIFFA (remember this?) and is sure to be both fun and productive! (details after the jump!)
