The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Committee today announced that planning is underway for its first-ever pop up store that will sell hundreds of items ranging from antiques and art to home furnishings and designer and vintage clothing. The store will be located at 207 East 57th Street (between Second and Third avenues) and will be open from May 19 to 23. Design enthusiasts who want first dibs on the fantastic merchandise will have their chance to scoop up bargains at the opening night party on May 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets for the opening party, which is sponsored by online home décor retailer One Kings Lane, are $125 for an individual ticket and $250 for a Patron ticket and may be purchased by calling (718) 893-8600 ext. 245. The sale will continue free and open to the public Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21 from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 22 and Sunday May 23, noon to 6 p.m. Let's all show our support and help this terrific organization!
