Our good friend Dominic Lepere just launched a newly re-designed website for his company LEPERE and the results are quite stellar (those are a few images from the site above). Like the showroom itself, the new site is beautifully designed and features products by such design laureates as Jean-Marie Massaud, Patricia Urquiola and Piero Lissoni, among others. In addition to the new site, LEPERE has joined forces with Raandesk Gallery of Art for a new exhibition entitled Art & Living: Emerging Interiors. Curated by interior designer and Cheeky Living Founder Karen Chien, the show will pair the work of emerging international artists with sleek, modern, European furnishings.
"An arresting work of art plays a central role in defining the mood and tenor of an interior," comments Karen Chien of Cheeky Living. "The show illustrates how to incorporate fine art alongside sophisticated, contemporary design."
Raandesk Gallery of Art, owner Jessica L. Porter selected seven artists that would complement the LEPERE aesthetic including: Juan Astica (Buenos Aires), Andrew Maglathlin, (Massachusetts), Anne Marchand (Washington D.C.), Teresa Pereda (Buenos Aires), Matej Sitar (Slovenia), Laura Vinas (Buenos Aires) and Roy Wiemann (New York City).
Art & Living: Emerging Interiors will be on view from May 13th through July 5th at LEPERE showroom, located at 20 West 22nd Street, Suite 1105, New York, NY with an opening reception this Thursday, May 13th from 7 - 9 PM.
