This has been one hell of a busy week, but thankfully it's coming to an end and the weekend is finally upon us. To help kick it off we thought we'd share an inspiring and much needed pick-me-up we discovered earlier in the week from our friends over at Dezeen. This slate-clad church with a separate steeple is in Jyväskylä, Finland and was designed by Finnish architects Anssi Lassila and Teemu Hirvilammi of Lassila Hirvilammi with Jani Jansson of Luonti. We think it's an incredible design worth sharing and perfectly appropriate for lifting our spirits before we lift another spirit (on the rocks) around sunset! What looks so minimalistic and simple is actually so complex and perfectly pristine. My kind of thing. I love design. If I could do it all over again I would be a fashion designer or an interior designer. Architectural design would be awesome; however, I think a little over my head.
